(14994) Uppenkamp is a main belt asteroid discovered by Spacewatch on October 28, 1997 from the Kitt Peak Observatory .
It was named after Wolfgang Uppenkamp (* 1953), a teacher for literature and English at the Pascal-Gymnasium in Grevenbroich .
