Ádám Szirtes
Ádám Szirtes (born Ádám Szvitek February 10, 1925 in Sülysáp , Pest County ; died July 27, 1989 in Budapest ) was a Hungarian actor.
Life
Ádám Szirtes studied acting and from 1952 first played at the municipal theater in Miskolc . In 1957 he received an engagement at the National Theater in Budapest and in 1974 moved to the Thália Színház , where he was engaged until 1985.
Szirtes has appeared in over 70 feature films and more than 40 television productions. In 1965 he played the title role in the second film adaptation of Zoltán Kodály's opera Háry János .
Szirtes received the Kossuth Prize in 1988, among other prizes . His daughter Ági Szirtes , born in 1955 , also went to the theater.
