Ángel García (athlete)
Ángel García Delgado (called "Parquito", born October 10, 1919 in Viñales ; † January 25, 1996 ibid) was a Cuban sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 , he was eliminated over 100 m , 200 m and 400 m in the preliminary run.
In 1951 he was fifth over 400 m at the Pan American Games in Buenos Aires and won silver with the Cuban team in the 4 x 100 meter relay .
At the Olympic Games in Helsinki in 1952 , he reached the quarter-finals over 200 m and the semi-finals with the Cuban 4 x 100 meter relay. He failed over 400 m in the first lap.
In 1954 he won the Central America and Caribbean Games in Mexico City over 400 m.
