Ángel Martín González (born January 3, 1953 in Barcelona ) is a Spanish chess player .
He won the Spanish individual championship four times: 1976, 1984, 1986 and 2000. He played for Spain in four Chess Olympiads : 1976 , 1982 to 1986 . In 1973 and 1977 he failed with the team at the European team championships in the qualification.
In Spain he played for CE Vulcà Barcelona ( CE Vulcà-Speed Sound Barcelona ). With Barcelona he took part in the European Club Cup in 1984 and 1986 .
