Angel Manuel Vivar Dorado just Vivar Dorado (* 12. February 1974 in Madrid ) is a former Spanish football player .

Player career

The beginnings

Vivar Dorado started his career as a footballer in 1992 with CD Leganés . In his first season he was able to celebrate the promotion of his team to the Segunda División . At the age of 18 Vivar Dorado was already a regular in the 3rd division. In the following second division season he was able to convince the critics and scored ten goals in 35 games. He then got the opportunity to move to the first division and signed a contract with CD Tenerife .

Primera División

At Tenerife, things initially went anything but good for the Madrilenian. Only four missions were in his first league season for him to book. But just a year later he was a permanent member of the team that reached the UEFA Cup . After Vivar Dorado was rarely used, he moved to league rivals Racing Santander in 1998 . For two years he was able to lead the Cantabrians as a leading player to stay in the league. He was often injured in the 2000/2001 season and Santander often looked headless. In the end, there was relegation to League 2. Vivar Dorado also went with his team to the Segunda División , where he only stayed six months before he moved to his hometown of Madrid , where he played the second half of the season at the first division club Rayo Vallecano . Racing, meanwhile, rose again.

Getafe

In the summer of 2002 Vivar Dorado went to the second division promoted Getafe FC , as he could stay in his familiar surroundings. In the second year he led the Madrid suburb club for the first time in its club history in the Primera División. There, too, he was one of the regular staff of the surprise team. After three years in the premier league, the midfielder, who was hardly taken into account under Bernd Schuster , left the club after five successful years, crowned by reaching the cup final, in which they were narrowly defeated by the favored Sevilla FC .

The last few years

In the summer of 2007 Vivar Dorado moved to the first division promoted Real Valladolid , where he should contribute to relegation with his routine and experience. There he was able to build on old times.
