Ásgeir Ásgeirsson (born December 18, 1972 ) is an Icelandic snooker player .

Career

At the U21 World Cup in 1993 Ásgeir Ásgeirsson reached the round of 16 and was eliminated there with 0: 5 against his compatriot Jóhannes B. Jóhannesson . At the Nordic championship he made it to the quarter-finals in 2000 and 2003. In 2004 he moved into the finals of the Icelandic championship . He lost there, however, with 1: 9 against Brynjar Valdimarsson . The following year he won the title with a 9-2 final win over Gunnar Hreiðarsson .
