Ângela Maria Corvelo de Andrade Sarmento (born December 14, 1970 in Dili , Portuguese Timor ) is a politician from East Timor . She is a member of the Congresso Nacional da Reconstrução Timorense (CNRT) party.

Corvelo has a degree in polytechnics and electrical engineering from 1993 and a degree in public administration which she obtained between 1999 and 2003. She later served as a civil society advisor in the Prime Minister's Cabinet and, in November 2010, an election observer in the Australian state of Victoria . From 2012 to 2017 Corvelo was a member of the East Timorese national parliament and deputy secretary of the parliamentary presidium. She was also a member of the Commission for Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security. In the parliamentary elections in East Timor in 2017 , she was no longer on the CNRT's candidate list.
