Ælita is the seventh studio album by the Swedish band Mando Diao and describes a reorientation and departure from the sound of the previous albums.

Ælita is a Russian synthesizer that the band came across in 2011. She was significantly influenced by this musical instrument when recording the new album; the synthesizer can be found in every song, the sound is based on the 1980s.
