Give Me Fire! -

Give Me Fire! is the fifth studio album by the Swedish band Mando Diao . It was produced by Salla Salazar Campos of the Swedish hip-hop group The Latin Kings . The band came up with the producer because keyboardist Mats Björke is a big fan of his group.

According to an interview by Björn Dixgård with Deutsche Depeschendienst , the band was influenced by film and television on their new album. The album should sound like a Quentin Tarantino soundtrack, according to Dixgård. This is also the reason for the dialog between some tracks. In some songs the old electronic instrument theremin is used, which was often used in science fiction films of the 1950s.

Give Me Fire! is considered "more danceable" than its predecessors.

In November 2009 a new edition of the album was released, which also contains the song "Nothing Without You".
