Çalpınar ( Arabic Sat , Kurdish Sîtê ) is a village in the Midyat district of the Turkish province of Mardin . Çalpınar is located about 58 km northeast of the provincial capital Mardin and 20 km southwest of Midyat. According to the last census, Çalpınar had 754 inhabitants (as of December 2009). The population consists of Kurds and Mhallami Arabs.
