Édouard Husson (born March 23, 1969 ) is a French historian .

Life

Husson studied history at the École normal supérieure de Paris and received his PhD from the University of Paris IV in 1998 ; his main teacher was Ian Kershaw . He then worked as a lecturer and researcher a. a. from 1995 to 1998 at the Robert Schuman University in Strasburg, from 1999 to 2001 at the Institute for Contemporary History in Munich, from 2001 to 2009 at the Institut d'études politiques de Paris and Sorbonne and 2006 at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, DC

From 2009 to 2010 he was an advisor to the French Education Minister Luc Chatel (UMP) and Secretary General of the Council for the Development of Humanities and Social Sciences. From 2010 he was Vice-Chancelier at Paris Universitas . He is Professor of the History of International Relations at the Université de Picardie Jules Verne in Amiens and specializes in National Socialism . In 2012 he was elected Secretary General of ESCP Europe . The employment relationship was terminated on June 4, 2014. He is an honorary doctor of the Academia Brasileira de Filosofia.

Husson is married with five children.
