The Église de Sainte Thérèse de l'Enfant Jésus (Eng. Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus ) is a Catholic church in Moroni , the capital of the island state of Comoros in the Indian Ocean .

The church is the main church in the archipelago and belongs to the Vicariate Apostolic Archipelago of the Comoros ( Apostolicus Vicariatus Insularum Comorensium ), where the majority of the population is Muslim . There are two other Catholic churches in Mayotte , but this island belongs to France as an overseas department (distance: approx. 250 km). The Vicariate received its status only in 2010 through the Bull Divini Salvatoris of Pope Benedict XVI. .

The church is named after St. Therese von Lisieux , a French Discalced Carmelite who was canonized in 1925. The mission was founded by Capuchins in the 1930s .

The church is a simple structure in the shape of a cross with a large portico and a steeply stepped tower.
