Émile-Louis Foubert
Émile-Louis Foubert (* 1848 in Paris ; † 1911 there ) was a French history and nude painter.
Foubert was a student in the Paris studios of Léon Bonnat , Charles Busson and Henri Léopold Lévy .
He created pictures on mythological, allegorical, and initially religious subjects, as well as portraits and landscapes. From 1875 he exhibited his works in the salons of the Société des Artistes Français . He became a member of this Société in 1884. From around 1900 he only painted fantasy landscapes with nymphs and sylphids.
