The offensive midfielder made his debut on September 3, 1933 in a 4-0 victory for his team against OGC Nice and was able to contribute his first goal. He then ran regularly for the team with which he made it to the cup final in 1934 ; Zermani put Marseille in the lead in the second minute, but in the end was still defeated 1: 2 to FC Sète and thus missed a possible first title win.

The player, who completed his entire professional career at Marseille, failed with the club the following year to defend his title. Zermani played his last game in the top division on April 30, 1939 in a 2-0 draw against Le Havre AC ; He no longer took part in the war championships , which lasted from 1939 to 1944 , but ended his career in the summer of 1939 at the age of 28.
