Émilie Desforges (born July 27, 1983 in Montreal ) is a former Canadian ski racer . She won three races in the Nor-Am Cup and was three times among the fastest 30 in the World Cup .

biography

Desforges competed in her first FIS races in December 1998. In the Nor-Am Cup , she competed for the first time in January 1999. She won a total of three races in the Nor-Am Cup and was among the top three another eleven times. She finished second in the 2002/03 season and third in the 2007/08 season . She also competed in the European Cup from January 2003, but had less success here than in the Nor-Am Cup. In the World Cup , Desforges drove her first race in December 2003, but it was not until January 14, 2007 that she won World Cup points for the first time with 25th place in her sixth World Cup race, the super combination of Altenmarkt-Zauchensee . This result remained her best result in the World Cup. In her 33 other World Cup races she only achieved a placement under the fastest 30 in just two super combinations in February and March 2008. In 2007 Desforges took part in the slalom world championship in Åre , but was eliminated in the first round. After the 2008/09 season she retired from top-class sport.
