Éric Aumonier (clergyman)
Éric Marie Pierre Henri Aumonier (born February 22, 1946 in Paris , France ) is a French clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Versailles .
Life
Éric Aumonier received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Paris on July 2, 1971 .
On 12 July 1996 appointed him Pope John Paul II. To the titular of Malliana and ordered him to auxiliary bishop in Paris. The Archbishop of Paris, Jean-Marie Cardinal Lustiger , donated him episcopal ordination on October 11 of the same year ; Co-consecrators were the Secretary for Relations with States in the Vatican State Secretariat , Archbishop of Curia Jean-Louis Tauran , and the Auxiliary Bishop in Paris, André Vingt-Trois . On January 11, 2001, John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Versailles.
