Étienne Grandjean
Étienne Grandjean (born February 24, 1914 in Bern ; † November 11, 1991 ) was a Swiss doctor and researcher in the fields of occupational physiology and ergonomics .
Grandjean studied medicine in Geneva , Vienna and Bern and received his doctorate in 1939. From 1950 he was a full professor of hygiene, from 1973 also of ergonomics at the ETH Zurich . In 1983 he retired.
