Ólafur Andrés Guðmundsson (born May 13, 1990 in Hafnarfjörður ) is an Icelandic handball player .

The 1.92 meter tall and 89 kilogram heavy left back player moved in the summer of 2010 from the Icelandic club FH Hafnarfjörður to the Danish club AG København . A year later he was loaned to Nordsjælland Håndbold . In summer 2012 he signed a contract with the Swedish first division club IFK Kristianstad . For the 2014/15 season he joined the German Bundesliga club TSV Hannover-Burgdorf . In November 2015 Ólafur Guðmundsson returned to IFK Kristianstad. With Kristianstad he won the Swedish championship in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Ólafur Guðmundsson played 115 times for the Icelandic national team , scoring 215 goals. With the Icelandic junior selection, he took part in the XVII. Junior World Championship.
