Óscar Javier González Marcos (born November 12, 1982 in Salamanca ) is a former Spanish soccer player who last played for Real Valladolid in the Spanish Primera División .
Career
Born in Salamanca, Óscar played for Real Valladolid when he was young . He made his professional debut at the age of 18 on October 7, 2001 in Valladolid's 1-0 victory over UD Las Palmas when he came on as a substitute for Turu Flores in the 64th minute . After three seasons in the first division, he was relegated with Valladolid and moved to the reigning cup winners Real Saragossa . There he always shuttled between the bench and the starting line-up, although he was used in almost every game, thanks to his ability as an all-rounder.
In the summer of 2008 he decided after the relegation of his team to a change to the reigning Greek champions Olympiacos Piraeus . There he won the championship and cup double in 2009 . Óscar was only used in 20 of 30 games and was mostly substituted on. Since his playing times did not improve in the following season, he left Olympiakos in late August 2010 and returned to Real Valladolid, which had just been relegated to the Segunda División . After two seasons in the second division, he rose again to the Primera División in the 2011/12 season with Valladolid . In the Spanish House of Lords he was fourteenth with Valladolid in the final standings and was the top scorer of his team with twelve goals.
