Óskar Jakobsson

Óskar Jakobsson (born January 29, 1955 ) is a former Icelandic javelin thrower , shot putter and discus thrower .

At the 1976 Olympic Games in Montreal , he was eliminated in the javelin qualification. In 1978 he was eleventh in the discus throw at the European Athletics Championships in Prague .

At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow he came in eleventh place in the shot put and failed in the discus throw without a valid attempt. In 1981 he was seventh in the shot put at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Grenoble .
