Ömer Faruk Kalmış

Ömer Faruk Kalmış (born November 23, 1994 in Delmenhorst ) is a German - Turkish professional footballer in the 2nd and 3rd Turkish leagues.

At the age of 5 Kalmış started playing football in Delmenhorst. From 1998 to 2005 the young Kalmış played for Eintracht Delmenhorst (today: SV Atlas Delmenhorst ). He then switched to TV Jahn Delmenhorst , where he played up to U13 . Kalmış then moved to Werder Bremen , where he played for a year. From the U15, Kalmış oriented himself to VfB Oldenburg and played there up to the U17. At the beginning of the U17 Kalmış moved to VfL Oldenburg .

When Kalmış rose to the men's area, he decided again for VfB Oldenburg and played there for a year. In 2014 he switched to TB Uphusen in Achim. After Kalmış was able to gain enough experience in Germany and his talent was discovered, in 2015 at the age of 21 he got the chance to sign a professional contract in Turkey with Bayburt Özel İdare (3rd division). In Turkey, the German-Turkish soccer player then moved to Van Büyükşehir Belediyespor . There he played for half a year. For the next half year he moved to Bursa , to Karacabey Birlikspor . In 2017 Kalmış signed his next contract for Karaköprü Belediyespor. In 2018, the soccer player first went back to Germany, where he successfully passed his final school exams. The footballer Kalmış has been under contract with third division club Sivas Belediyespor since August 2019 .
