Ömer Karabacak (born September 12, 1979 in Istanbul ) is a former Turkish football player .

Career

society

Karabacak started club soccer in the youth department of Fenerbahçe Istanbul . Towards the end of the 1998/88 season he was accepted by the head coach of the professional team, Joachim Loew , to the professional training team. In the first division match against İstanbulspor on May 23, 1999 , Karabacak was substituted on by Löw, making his professional debut. In the further course of the season Karabacak was used again. During the 1999/2000 season he was fully a member of the professional squad and played ten league games. After he had completed only two missions in the first match days of the 2000/01 season, he was for the rest of the season at the league rivals Erzurumspor . Here he could not assert himself and only came to two league appearances.

In the summer of 2001 Karabacak left Fenerbahçe and moved to league rivals Gençlerbirliği Ankara . With this club, too, he eke out a league deployment until the next winter break and then moved on to second division Istanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor . For the company sports club of the Istanbul city administration he played for one and a half seasons and then moved to the Istanbul third division team Sarıyer SK . After Karabacak remained without a club in the 2006/07 season, moved to Tepecik Belediyespor for the 2007/08 season . With this club he ended his career.

National team

Karabacak completed two missions for the Turkish U-18 national team during his time at Fenerbahçe Istanbul .
