The Øvrenuten ( Norwegian for Upper Summit ) is one of three neighboring Nunatakkern of the Nicholas Range in the East Antarctic Kempland . It rises to the northwest of the Menuten , which is joined to the southeast by the Nedrenuten .
According to the entry in the Composite Gazetteer of Antarctica, the name goes back to Russian scientists.
