Üçkuyular ( Kurmanji : Feqîra) is a jesidisches village in the southeast of Turkey . The village is located about 12 km south of Beşiri in the Beşiri district of the same name in the Batman province . The place is located in Southeast Anatolia .

History and population

The original name of the village is Feqîra (also Feqiran or Fakiran). The villages were renamed as a result of the Turkishization of geographical names in Turkey . Today Üçkuyular is mostly an abandoned village. The village had an exclusively Yazidi population.

According to the Siirt Province Yearbook of 1973, 236 people lived in the village. In 2000 there were 6 families in the village. In 2009 there were 4 families living there. In 2012 5 families lived there.
