Ummu Kiraz
Ümmü Kiraz (born September 27, 1982 in Acıpayam , Denizli ) is a Turkish athlete .
Kiraz is studying to be a sports teacher at Pamukkale University . The 1.62 m tall athlete, who belongs to the Istanbul association Kasımpaşa Sports Club , weighed in in 2012 a competition weight of 48 kg. Kiraz is trained by Oznur Hatipoğlu . The long-distance runner was part of the Turkish team for the 2012 Olympic Games . In London she covered the Olympic marathon distance in 2: 43.07 hours. This placed her in 89th place in the final ranking.
Her personal best on the marathon distance is 2: 32.52 hours. She displayed this stamp on November 16, 2014 at the event in Istanbul. On the 10,000-meter course , the 33: 10.85 min run on June 7, 2014, and the 1: 12.19 h in the half marathon on March 25, 2012 in Tarsus are their best times.
In October 2015, Kiraz was banned from doping for two and a half years.
