The Þórðarfoss is a waterfall in the south of Iceland .
In Fljótshlíð the river Þórðara falls 80 meters in several steps and then flows west into the Þverá and not into the Markarfljót , which is the largest river in the area. From Hvolsvöllur on the ring road , Fljótshlíðarvegur (road 261) heads east, after 17 km you reach the waterfall. The Merkjár- or Gluggafoss is only 250 m east of it .
