ČT: D (also: ČT Déčko or Déčko ) is a Czech children's television broadcaster operated by the public television company ČT , which shares the broadcasting space with the cultural broadcaster ČT art . ČT: D sends from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., ČT art. It is a program of the public broadcaster Česká televize .

Structure of the programs

On August 31, 2013, ČT: D took over the slot of the former station ČT3 , which broadcasted from January 1, 1993 to February 3, 1994. ČT: D is free to receive. Česká televize plans to separate the two channels so that both can broadcast 24 hours a day. Since November 1, 2016, ČT: D has also been broadcasting in HD via satellite via Astra 3B .

ČT: D sends from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., ČT art. The two target groups are children between the ages of 4 and 8 (57 percent of the broadcast time) and schoolchildren between the ages of 8 and 15 (43 percent of the broadcast time).
