course

The Bärenbach arises in the northern part of the town of Bärnbach , in the central part of the cadastral municipality of Hochtregist , east of the Weingartsberg scattered settlement and northwest of the Taubermichl farm. At first it flows relatively straight, then in a left curve and then again relatively straight overall to the south-west. In the northern part of the cadastral community of Bärnbach and the district of Kleinkainach it flows into the Kainach in the east of the Piberegg Rollsiedlung about 150 meters east of the L341, which then turns left.

On its course, the Bärenbach takes two from the left and one unnamed watercourse from the right.
