Ēriks Rags (born June 1, 1975 in Ventspils ) is a Latvian javelin thrower .

1997 at the World Championships in Athens Ēriks Rags represented his country for the first time at a major athletic event, but retired in the qualification. At the 1999 World Championships in Seville he was tenth and at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney he was also eliminated from the qualification.

In 2001 he finished eighth at the Edmonton World Championships , and shortly thereafter, as in 1999, he won the Universiade . At the European Athletics Championships in Munich in 2002 he was fourth, at the 2003 World Championships in Paris-Saint-Denis, he did not reach the final.

A seventh place at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens was followed by a sixth place at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki, a ninth place at the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg and an eleventh place at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka.

Ēriks Rags is 1.83 m tall and weighs 93 kg.
