Inter City Firm

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Inter City Firm ( ICF ) is the hooligan group of the London football club West Ham United . She was mostly active in the 1970 and 1980s. Bill Gardner is generally considered to be the leader of the ICF, although this is not entirely correct, as the ICF was not a large group but an amalgamation of many small groups. The ICF is often portrayed as racist or right-wing extremists , which, according to Cass Pennant , author and formerly one of the leading figures at the ICF, is not true. The biggest rivalry there with the hooligans of Millwall FC, the Millwall Bushwackers. There is also great rivalry against the Headhunters ( Chelsea FC ), Red Army ( Manchester United ) and Yid Army ( Tottenham Hotspur ).

The German director Lexi Alexander took the ICF as a model for her film Hooligans with Elijah Wood and Charlie Hunnam in the leading roles. The fictional group depicted in the film, closely modeled on the ICF, is called Green Street Elite (GSE).
