Joseph Rastrelli
Joseph Rastrelli (born April 13, 1799 in Dresden ; † November 15, 1842 there ; middle name Gioseffo or Giuseppe) was a German composer and conductor .
His father Vincenzo Rastrelli was a court church composer at the Catholic Court Church in Dresden from 1795 to 1831 and a singing teacher for the royal family. In 1829 Joseph Rastrelli became music director of the Catholic Court Church alongside Francesco Morlacchi (1784–1841) and Carl Gottlieb Reissiger .
