İbradı is a municipality in the Turkish province of Antalya and the administrative seat of the İbradı district of the same name . According to a census from 2000, İbradı has 3,835 inhabitants.

İbradı is located about 35 km north of Manavgat and about 80 km east of Antalya in a small plain in the middle of mountains.

Every year in the first week of September there is the Grape Festival , where competitions are held and folkloric groups perform traditional dances.

history

Not much is known about the establishment of İbradı. However, there are Roman and Hellenistic ruins in the area. In the time of the Ottoman Empire , İbradı was known as a science center.

In 1889 the place was destroyed by fire. Seven of the newly built houses are listed as historical monuments.
