İsmail Kasikci (* 1. September 1952 ) is a Turkish electrical engineering - engineering .

Life

İsmail Kaşıkçı studied electrical power engineering and data technology at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences , as well as microelectronics at the Technical University of Darmstadt and the University of London . After a research doctorate for Ph.D. at the British Brunel University he received his doctorate with the thesis A new method for power quality improvement . He then worked in a large company in the planning and projecting of electrical systems and the development of microelectronic circuits (ASICs).

After teaching at the University of Heilbronn Kasikci received a on 1 March 2002 reputation of Biberach to the Chair for Electrical Engineering at the Faculty of building climate . He is particularly concerned with the areas of system planning and project planning, electrical building equipment, the basics of electrical engineering, conventional and regenerative energy management, standards and regulations.

He is also a lecturer at the Technical Academy Esslingen (TAE) and at the Association of Electrical, Electronics and Information Technology (VDE) in Frankfurt am Main. He is involved both in the Association of German Engineers (VDI) and in standardization work in Turkey.

He has published numerous scientific papers and works as a scientific reviewer and editor at the science publisher ACTA-Press.
