İsmail Sefa Yüceer

İsmail Sefa Yüceer (born January 1, 1963 in Ankara ) is a Turkish diplomat .

Life

Yüceer graduated from the Middle East Technical University in Ankara with a BA in Economics, Public Administration and Public Administration in 1987 . His MA degree took place a year later at Marmara University in the Institute of the European Union. From the end of 1990 he held various positions in Turkey in the Foreign Office and in diplomatic missions around the world. From 1994 he was deputy consul in the Turkish consulate in Los Angeles . From 2002 he was Consul General at the Turkish Consulate General in Kazan (Russia).

He received his first appointment as ambassador on November 15, 2016 for the Turkish diplomatic mission in Banjul , in the West African state of Gambia . On January 1, 2020, he was replaced by Tolga Bermek as ambassador to Gambia.
