İzzet İnce

İzzet İnce (born June 28, 1981 in Kütahya ) is a former Turkish weightlifter .

Career

Ince reached fourth place in the duel at the 2003 European Championships in the class up to 85 kg and won bronze in the snatch. In 2004 he won the gold medal at the European Championships . In the same year he took part in the Olympic Games in Athens, where he failed, however, a valid attempt. At the European Championships in 2005 he won bronze in pushing. In 2007 İnce was able to win gold in snatching and silver in duels and jerks at the European Championships . At the world championships in the same year he was eleventh.

At the European Championships in 2008 he won the bronze medal in the tear. He also took part in his second Olympic Games in Beijing , but injured himself while bumping. He won the gold medal at the 2009 Mediterranean Games . In 2010 İnce won silver in the snatch at the European Championships . In 2011, however, he was tested positive for Metandienone during a training check and was banned for two years.
