Ōmi-gun (Tottori)

Ōmi ( Japanese 邑 美 郡 , Ōmi-gun , also: Ōmi no kōri ) was a district of the former Japanese province of Inaba .

history

On January 1, 1889 , Tottori was declared a city ( , shi ) and independent of the Ōmi district. At the same time, the district was divided into six villages.
On March 29, 1896 , the districts Ōmi, Hōmi and Iwai were combined to form Iwami district.
