The Ōsumi class ( Japanese お お す み 型 輸送 艦 , Ōsumi-gata yuzōkan ) is a class of three amphibious transport docks of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Forces (JMSDF). It is named after the historical Ōsumi province .
