Świemino [ɕfjɛˈminɔ] (German Schwemmin ) is a village in the rural municipality of Biesiekierz , Powiat Koszaliński , in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in the northwest of the Republic of Poland.
Geographical location
Świemino is located about 19 km southwest of Koszalin and 117 km southwest of Stettin (Polish: Szczecin), the capital of the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

In 2008 Świemino had 260 inhabitants.
history
From 1872 to 1945 belonged to the previously the county principality associated Schwemmin to Pomerania in the administrative district of Koszalin , who belonged to the Prussian province of Pomerania. Since 1945 the place Świemino belongs to the Republic of Poland.
