Şükriye Dönmez

Şükriye Dönmez (* 1969 in Ananos , Turkey ) is a Turkish actress who grew up in Germany and also works as a theater and short film director . She played the main role in Fatih Akın 's first short film Sensin - It's You! (1995).

Life

At the age of six months she came with her parents from Turkey to Germany, where she lived for a long time. In June 2004, the German political magazine Kontraste reported on the failure of her application for naturalization in the Federal Republic of Germany, which she submitted in March 1999, which was justified by unemployment after five years of processing. Dönmez is a Turkish citizen (as of 2004) and now lives in Istanbul.
