Şaban Yılmaz Genişyürek (born January 3, 1986 in Illertissen ) is a German - Turkish football player .
Career
Genişyürek was born as the son of Turkish immigrants in Illertissen and started playing football here in the youth of FV Illertissen . Here he later also began to play for the first men and was scouted by the talent hunters of the Stuttgarter Kickers . In 2007 he moved to Stuttgart and was active here for a year and a half. At the end of the season 2008/09 he left the kicker and returned to FV Illertissen.
For the 2009/10 season he had an offer from Turkey from the second division club Karşıyaka SK . Genişyürek accepted it and moved to his parents' home. Here he was more of a reservist for a season and only played occasionally. So Genişyürek left the club for the next season and moved to the TFF 2nd Lig to Çorumspor . Here he experienced a successful season with eight goals in 26 games.
In the summer he was brought back to Karşıyaka SK on the directive of the new coach Reha Kapsal . Here he scored eight league goals by the winter break, making him the team's most successful goalscorer.
At the end of the season he was unable to agree on a contract extension with Karşıyaka and dissolved his contract by mutual agreement. A short time after this contract termination, he moved to the arch-rival of Karşıyaka, the city and league competitor Göztepe Izmir .
In the 2014 summer transfer period, Genişyürek moved to the second division team Ankaraspor . This club, which had meanwhile been renamed Osmanlıspor FK, he left in the direction of Manisaspor .
With four goals in twelve appearances for Manisaspor, Genişyürek could not prevent relegation to the third division. He then moved to Denizlispor for the 2014/15 season . For the 2016/17 season he moved to İstanbulspor and continued his career in the TFF 2nd Lig . With this club he reached the championship of the TFF 2nd Lig at the end of the season and thus promotion to the TFF 1st Lig . After another half season for İstanbulspor, he left the club in January 2018 and moved to the third division Bodrum Belediyesi Bodrumspor .
