Špela Čadež
Špela Čadež (born January 1977 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian director and producer of animated films .
Live and act
After graduating in Visual Communication Design (2002) in Ljubljana, she continued her studies at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne in the field of media design. In Cologne she made the films "Zasukanec" and "Liebeskrank"; which have been shown at over a hundred festivals around the world and have received over 30 prizes. Špela Čadež has been working as an animation film director and producer in Slovenia since 2008.
In 2018 she was appointed to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences , which awards the Oscars every year.
