The Železný vrch (German Eisenberg ) is a peak in the middle Upper Palatinate Forest . It is located in Okres Domažlice about 2 km northwest of Rybník nad Radbuzou (German: Waier), 2 km southwest of Mostek (German: Schwanenbrückl), 1.8 km northeast of Waldhäuser , 1.8 km east ofügellohe . Mostecký potok (German: Glöcklbach) and Radbuza form an acute angle near Mostek in which the Eisenberg rises. Its summit is about 800 m south of the Glöcklbach and 1.5 km west of the Radbuza. One of the source streams of the Glöcklbach rises on the western slope of the Eisenberg.
Eisenberg and Großer Fels (Velká skála) together form the Amber Ridge (Medvědí hory), which extends north-south along the German-Czech border. This mountain range can be crossed in the south over a 600 m high pass, if you go from Schwarzach to Rybnik or go by bike. The good, paved road from Schwarzach to Rybnik is closed to traffic. Another 810 m high pass is located in the north between Glöckelberg (Malý Zvon) and Eisenberg.
