(1814) Bach is an asteroid of the main belt that was discovered on October 9, 1931 by the German astronomer Karl Wilhelm Reinmuth at the Heidelberg-Königstuhl State Observatory at the University of Heidelberg .

The asteroid was named after the German composer Johann Sebastian Bach .
