(2521) Heidi is an asteroid of the main belt , which the Swiss astronomers on February 28, 1979 Paul Wild , from zimmerwald observatory of the University of Bern was made, discovered.
The asteroid is named after the famous children's books " Heidi " by the Swiss author Johanna Spyri .
