The 1. FC Nuremberg Ski Association was in 1995 during the organizational reform at the 1. FC Nuremberg as an independent association from the established 1913 Ski Department of the Main Association forth. Like the other former club departments, the club has since been part of the FCN umbrella organization. In 2009 the club has 5 teams of all ages.

After 1. FC Nürnberg was founded in 1900, the club decided to open a ski department in 1913. This makes the 1. FCN Ski eV the oldest ski club in Nuremberg . The greatest success of the club was winning the German championship title.
