Master stars
Due to the nine championship titles won, 1. FC Nürnberg should actually have two championship stars on the jersey. However, since the FCN belongs to the remit of the DFL and only evaluates championships won in the Bundesliga, eight of these are not officially recognized. Only when participating in a league that does not belong to the DFL, i.e. only from the 3rd division , the club should have the stars on the jersey.
International
Apart from winning the Inter Toto Cup in 1968 , 1. FC Nürnberg has not yet won any titles, but has made it to the finals several times in international competitions.

Personalities
player
→ For a list of all players see the list of 1. FC Nürnberg players .
In the long history of 1. FC Nürnberg, various players have shaped the club's game. Best known throughout Germany are certainly the two footballers of the year, Max Morlock (1961) and Andreas Köpke (1993). With the Slovak national player Marek Mintál, the club provided the top scorer in the 1st Bundesliga for the first time in 2005 . A year earlier, Mintal had already become the best scorer in the 2nd division , which he succeeded in the 2008/09 season again.
In Nuremberg itself, it was difficult for a long time to adequately honor the individual player personalities. Although individual streets in the area around the Nuremberg stadium were named after outstanding players such as Hans Kalb and Max Morlock, it was not until 2006 that the club decided to systematically honor 35 players. The trigger was the renaming of the stadium, which got the name of the product easyCredit of the sponsor TeamBank AG and since then has been called easyCredit-Stadion or since then has had other sponsor names . The fans responded in protest with a symbolic renaming to Max-Morlock-Stadion , as it has been officially called since the 2017/18 season. As a compromise, 1. FC Nürnberg named 35 stadium blocks for the 2006/07 season after well-earned players from the club's history who meet at least two of the following three criteria: 400 appearances for the club, national players, German champions with the club. These are shown in italics in the following overview . There are also other champions and national players of 1. FC Nürnberg as well as the cup winners and players with more than 250 appearances for the club.

The century (+10) eleven
Before the 2010/11 season, the club fans voted online for a team from 110 years of club history. Each user could choose a player for each position from a pre-selection as his greatest legend. The best players per position were included in the eleven of the century (one goalkeeper, four defensive and midfield players, two strikers). Eleven other well-placed players were named "substitutes".
The result shows a clear tendency towards the recent history of the club, that is, probably towards players that the majority of voters had seen themselves. Wenauer and Morlock are the only members of the team who were active with the club before the late 1970s and at the same time the only ones who were able to celebrate a Nuremberg championship.
Wolf and Mintál were still active at the time of the vote, as was Schäfer, who only made it to substitute. Kießling, the only eligible voter who was active at another club at the time of the vote, and Oechler, at that time a member of the supervisory board of 1. FC Nürnberg, also made it to the substitute.

In-house top scorer
This table shows the best goal scorers of the season at 1. FC Nürnberg since the Bundesliga was introduced in 1963/64. For comparison, the goals of the league's top scorer and the goals of the FCN in the season as a whole are listed. The table is sorted chronologically by default, but it can also be sorted by number of goals or by league membership. No goalscorer data are available for the seasons in the second-rate regional league.
Club of the season
After each first half of the season or the first half of the season you can vote on the clubber of the first half of the season or the first half of the season on the 1. FC Nürnberg homepage. Here leads Raphael Schäfer , who was elected in three seasons for Clubberer of the season, the rankings.
