Richard Oehm (born June 22, 1909 in Nuremberg ; † May 20, 1975 ), also called "Tipfi", was a German football player .

Career

societies

Oehm started playing soccer in the youth department of 1. FC Nürnberg , but switched to VfR Mögeldorf at the instigation of his father . However, his connection with 1. FC Nürnberg was so great that he later returned to 1. FC Nürnberg - despite studying horticultural architecture in Weihenstephan - and preferred to travel to the games by train rather than switch to a Munich club . He belonged to the first team from 1929 to 1939 , for which he played 417 competitive games, won the national cup competition for club teams, which was held for the first time in 1935, and the German championship in 1936. How serious this bond was to him also shows that he had to change his player position again and again. He started out as a half-forward before coach Jenő Konrád retrained him to become a center runner . But he did not always keep this position, but often served as a "test shrimp" , as the club newspaper called him in 1935.

First he played until 1933 in the championships organized by the South German Football Association in the Northern Bavaria group within the Bavarian regional league . 1932 and 1933 he won the 1. FC Nuremberg, the North Bavarian Championship before from 1933 bis 1939 in Gauliga Bayern , later, in one of first 16 to 23 spiked Gauligen the era of National Socialism as a uniform top flight in the German Reich denied point games . During this period he won the Gaume Championship four times with his team and was consequently used in a total of 32 final round matches for the German Championship, in which he scored eight goals. He also played 13 games in the Tschammerpokal competition from 1935 to 1938 , in which he scored two goals.

National team

Oehm played three international matches for the senior national team , making his debut on September 25, 1932 in Nuremberg in a 4-3 victory over the national team of Sweden . His last appearance as a national player was on March 11, 1934 in Luxembourg in a 9-1 victory over the Luxembourg national team in the qualifying match for the World Cup taking place in Italy from May 27 to June 10 . For this he was ultimately not considered by Reich trainer Otto Nerz .
