Ondřej Petrák (born March 11, 1992 in Prague ) is a Czech football player . The midfielder is on loan from 1. FC Nürnberg to Dynamo Dresden and is a former Czech junior international.
Career
society
Ondřej Petrák played in his childhood from the age of five at SK Olympie Dolní Břežany and ABC Braník before he came to Slavia Prague via Bohemians Prague at the age of ten . There he went through the other youth teams and was used for the first time in October 2010 in the first team. In the 2011/12 season he was part of the first division team, on matchday four he had his first appearance in the starting line-up and in no time he had played his way into the team. In two and a half years Petrák completed 62 missions in the Gambrinus League and was mostly used in defensive midfield or in central defense.
During the winter break of the 2013/14 season, the Czech got an offer from the German Bundesliga club 1. FC Nürnberg . He switched to the Swiss franc on January 7, 2014 at the age of 21 and signed a contract that ran until 2017. On the first day of the second half of the season he made his Bundesliga debut in the home game against TSG Hoffenheim when he came on as a substitute for the injured Per Nilsson in central defense. At the end of the season, 1. FC Nürnberg was relegated to the second division. On March 20, 2016, Petrák scored his first goal against RB Leipzig in his 51st competitive game for 1. FC Nürnberg. With 1. FC Nürnberg he was runner-up in the 2. Bundesliga in 2018 and thus rose to the Bundesliga, but could not keep the class with the team.
After 132 competitive games, the midfielder only made three additional appearances in the 2019/20 second division season and was loaned out to league competitor Dynamo Dresden during the winter break until the end of the season, who then holds a purchase option. Until then, Petrák, who meets his compatriot Josef Hušbauer in Dresden, was the longest-serving Nuremberg player and the only one who had played for the club before relegation in 2014 and stayed until promotion .

Petrák is a former Czech junior international. He was discovered in the U16 and used six times. Then he played in every other youth team of the Czech association except for the U19s, most recently in the U21s.
