Luka Štor (born July 5, 1998 in Šempeter pri Gorici ) is a Slovenian football player - the striker is under contract as a loan player from Dynamo Dresden at NK Aluminij and is a young Slovenian national player.

Career

society

Štor started playing football at the NK Primorje Ajdovščina at the age of five . In 2008 he moved to the ND Gorica academy before he was signed by NK Maribor in 2013 . There he went through the youth teams until 2017. In the 2014/15 season he played a game in the UEFA Youth League for the senior youth team of the Slovenian record champions , and two more appearances followed in the 2017/18 season . For the 2017/18 season, Štor was included in the squad of the first team of NK Maribor, but did not make any competitive appearances in the first half of the season.

In January 2018, he was loaned to Aluminij Kidricevo for the second half of the 2017/18 season. There he played his first competitive game in the Slovenian PrvaLiga on February 20, 2018 and made ten further appearances during the loan, but he did not score a goal. For the 2018/19 season the center forward returned to Maribor , where he was not used in the first half of the season. At the beginning of 2019 he was therefore firmly committed by Aluminij Kidricevo and completed the second half of the season there, where he came to 14 appearances in which he scored five goals. At the beginning of the 2019/20 season, he played 5 league games for the Slovenian first division club, in which he scored four goals.

On August 14, 2019, Štor was signed by the German second division club Dynamo Dresden , where he signed a four-year contract until 2023. He made his first competitive appearance on August 18, 2019 (3rd matchday of the season ) when he came on for Alexander Jeremejeff in the 83rd minute in the 2-1 league win against 1.FC Heidenheim . After eleven first round appearances and the commitment of further offensive forces, Dynamo loaned the striker to his old club NK Aluminij after the 21st matchday until the end of the season.

National team

Štor played against Serbia for the first time for the Slovenian U18 team in February 2015 . For this he came to eight missions by April 2016, in which he scored two goals. In August 2016 he made his only appearance for the U19 team against Hungary .

In June 2019 Štor was appointed to the squad of the Slovenian U21 national team for the first time . He made his debut on June 20, 2019 in a friendly against Georgia . There he was substituted on in the 46th minute for Haris Kadrić ; the game ended 1-1. In the further course of 2019 he made four more appearances for the U21s of Slovenia, where he was substituted on in the second half of the games.
