Julius Kade (born May 20, 1999 in Berlin ) is a German football player who is used in the position of attacking midfielder . He is under contract with Dynamo Dresden .
Club career
In his youth, Julius Kade first played for Sportfreunde Kladow, before moving to the Hertha BSC youth performance center in 2008 .
Kade made his Bundesliga debut for Hertha as an A-youth under Pál Dárdai on April 5, 2017 in the 0-1 away defeat against Borussia Mönchengladbach when he was substituted on in the closing stages. After Lennart Hartmann , he was the second youngest Bundesliga player from Hertha BSC in the club's history. In the 2016/17 and 2017/18 seasons, his last two youth years, Kade mainly played in the A-Juniors Bundesliga . In the 2017/18 season he and his team first became champions of the North / Northeast relay and then German champions in the final round . Kade came in the regular season on 18 appearances in which he scored eight goals, as well as three appearances in the finals. With the professionals he was once used in the UEFA Europa League . In the 2018/19 season, Kade played no role in the Bundesliga squad and was part of the second team in the fourth-class Regionalliga Nordost , for which he had already played a number of times since March 2017.
For the 2019/20 season, Kade moved to city rivals 1. FC Union Berlin . He received a contract with the Bundesliga promoted team until June 30, 2021, but did not appear in any competitive matches during the season. He then moved to third division team Dynamo Dresden for the 2020/21 season , where he signed a contract until 2023. 1. FC Union Berlin secured a buyback option.
